Fay Kelley


was born and raised in the St.-Paul Minneapolis area.  Undergraduate work completed at the University of Minnesota with graduate degree in Psychology from Notre Dame University.  After many decades of working in various milieus, she established a private practice in upstate New York.  During those years was working as a psychotherapist, she spent the other half of the career day coaching figure skating.

Also as the facilities manager overseeing commercial new construction as well as the manager of a 24-unit apartment building for almost a decade, Fay has always been involved in some way with real estate:  "I still relish every minute of my time wokring in real estate!"

"I have published a book for preparing your home for the best possible sale.   I provide detailed information about *all* the sold, cancelled and expired properties which would affect how you price your home for sale.  Also the active properties which would be competing with your home or lot.  I take you out on a fun "traveling CMA" which means we examine your competition closely to get the best price for your home without your property staying on the market longer than you desire.

"I provide you, the buyer or seller, with all of the information I have available to me so that you may make an informed and comfortable decision for investing in your future.   We will look at statistics for the Sedona area regarding the price per square foot for properties in any price bracket.  

"The absorption rate is the amount of time in months that it would take to sell a particular home within a certain price range if no new properties were introduced during the coming time frame.  We will examine those statistics as well.

"For example, if the absorption rate is 11 months, that means it would take 11 months to sell all of the current properties on the market within a specific range.   This is an important item because sometimes people want or need to sell within a certain time period.   Other times they want to know how long it will take to obtain what might be fair market price in whatever market exists at the time.

"You and I will go through all of the documents ahead of an offer to so that all is understood and can be processed without pressure.
